Hello.
My name is Mike Crawford. I am a graphic designer looking for full time employment in the Dallas area. I recently moved
back to Texas after spending 8 years in Syracuse, New York where I gained invaluable experience as a graphic designer.
My earliest experience in the graphic design field was building news paper ads for free news papers. My first professional
job was with The Shoppers Guide in Grand Prairie Texas, where I was promoted from building small ads to working as a liaison
between the art and sales departments, balancing the needs of both, as well as creating Spec Ads; directly for the sales teams.
When I relocated to Syracuse I took a similar position with the Scotsman Press. During the next 7 years I worked steadily
as an artist for screen print companies such as Custom Logo, Top Stitch and Landmark Graphics, as well as doing freelance
work for places like FDNY Hockey and the Boxing Hall of Fame. Last year I took a position with Liberty Screen Print in North
Carolina, where I color separated artwork for apparel divisions of companies such as Adidas, Mossy Oak, Reebok and primarily
Nike. At Liberty Screen Print my team and I were also responsible for developing new printing techniques and applications.
During the last 10 years I have grown as a graphic designer, I have learned new techniques and have drawn back from my
education at the Art Institute of Dallas. I am a very creative artist who has always worked hard and efficiently under tight
deadlines. I have always tried to work closely with clients to make sure that I can provide the best artwork to fulfill their
needs as well as making sure that I represent whatever company that I work for to the fullest extent. I am passionate at
what I do, and that is why I am the best person for the position you want to fill.
